Two Teams Punch Tickets To Washington

The Miami RedHawks and Vermont Catamounts were the first
teams
to punch their tickets to the 2009 NCAA Frozen Four in
Washington
D.C. after regional championship wins on Saturday. Miami's
Frozen
Four appearance will be its first, while Vermont returns to
the
national stage for the second time, the first being in 1996.
Boston
University claimed the third spot after a 2-1 win over New
Hampshire on Sunday, and Bemidji capped a historic weekend with
their first-ever trip to the national tournament.
